Report on Ride with COPS:
You guys, our fellow riders and sponsors knocked it out of the park. We took in enough money to fund the Annual Underprivileged Children's Christmas Party ($10,000), donate to OHP, KSP & The BOYD Co. Sheriffs Department children's Christmas charities ($500 each).
We will also be sending $500 to KSP Trooper Hayden Philips' family; the officer just killed in the line duty.
We will post the date of the children's party at Redman Bingo soon, PLEASE come by and see where your money goes.

Thank you to everyone who attended Ride with COPS XXIV. It was a great day. Rough count on bikes 140. Thanks to Huntington Police Motor Unit and all the emergency services that kept us safe for 100 miles.

Ride with COPS is a go for Sunday, October 4th. See you there!
Registration is $25 per person. Double up is $50 which sponsors one child and you each receive a shirt. Also included is a 100 mile police escorted ride through WV, KY & Ohio, lunch provided by Buddy's BBQ, door prizes, auction, raffle and 50/50 drawing.
This is our sole fundraiser for the annual children's Christmas party. 250 children are provided lunch, gifts and interaction with Police Officers and Blue Knights in December. The FOP Gold Star Lodge #65 Children's Christmas Party dates back to 1970!
We also donate $500 to The Boyd County Sheriff's Department, Kentucky State Police and Ohio Highway Patrol for their children's Christmas programs.

See you Sunday, October 4th!
Mark your calendar for 24th Annual Ride with COPS. Registrations will be available soon and we will have several opportunities for you to preregister once the shirts are available. All registration pre and day of is $25 per person. This includes t shirt(s), post ride food and fun. Each $50 registration sponsors one child. The FOP Lodge 65 Children's Christmas party dates back to 1970; Ride with COPS & sponsors have solely funded it for the last 24 years with BK hosting since 2013.

BK WV III participated in National Night Out by making 550 hot dogs, serving nachos, chips and pop to the community.

Our local club, Blue Knights WV III, based in Huntington, WV; includes officers and retirees from state and local law enforcement agencies throughout WV, OH & KY. Our chapter was chartered in 2010 and has contributed significantly to the Tri State area since then to include monetary donations to Hospice of Huntington, Hoop’s Family Hospital, Erma’s Angel’s fight to end Alzheimer’s and Veteran’s organizations including significant contributions to three HWW Gold Star Families Memorials; but our main focus has always been providing toys and a luncheon for nearly 230+ underserved children at the FOP Gold Star Lodge 65’s annual Children’s Christmas Party. The funds for this party are raised solely through sponsorships, and a motorcycle ride we host in October known as Ride with COPS. We typically spend between $8000 and $10,000 each year on gifts for the children. The Christmas party dates back to 1970, and Blue Knights WV III took over fund raising in 2013. We, nor the FOP Gold Star Lodge 65 use telephone solicitors.
We are currently soliciting items and / or monetary donations for our 24th Annual Ride with COPS to be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026.
We are asking for your support. The items you provide will be used as give-a-ways (great advertisement for your business) or raffle items at our event. Monetary donations are used to offset expenses and buy toys for the children. If a monetary donation is provided in the form of a check; please make it out to RIDE with COPS CHARITABLE FOUNDATION; we are a 501 (c) 3 tax deductible charity registered with the State of WV 83-4316996. We can also provide you or your business with a printed receipt and IRS form W-9.
A donation of $750+ secures advertisement on our posters, registrations and t-shirt sleeves. With a donation of $250-$749 your name or business logo will be included on printed material advertising the ride. Any consideration would be greatly appreciated; $50 sponsors one child!
Contact any member or send a check to the PO Box. Contributions to the foundation is ONLY used for charitable purposes.
This year's ride is Sunday, October 4th, more info as the date gets closer.

Sharing events from our friends and giving you a heads up for our 24th Annual Ride with COPS.
If you don't ride or your business would like to donate to the Ride with COPS Charitable Foundation see any Blue Knight WV III member. We buy $50 worth of toys for each of the 200-230 children we sponsor.

We want to thank those who took the chance to come to our bike show in spite of the poor weather forecast. Not one drop fell on Memorial Blvd.
Big thanks to Bikers for Christ for judging the show for us.
