The Vanity Fair Tenant's Association/Chat and Create group will be selling their artwork during the Second Saturday Market at Heritage Station this Saturday from 10am until 3pm. Proceeds from the sales will help fund their volunteer work in the community. Please come out and make a purchase in support of their efforts.

Recovery Coach Tasha works in our First Steps Wellness and Recovery Center on 7th Avenue. Tasha was handing out healthy snacks recently and would appreciate donations to First Steps of fresh fruit, small bags of pretzels, or bottled water. Contact Director Miss Terry to donate at 681-378-3791.

SPREAD HOLIDAY CHEER!

Some of the lower income housing complexes are interested in receiving donated, gently used or new holiday decorations. If you would like to donate some you no longer use or some new ones, please email [email protected] or drop them by the Psychology Department on the Third Floor of Harris Hall. They specifically mentioned outdoor decorations but all would be welcome. Thank you!

Missy Morrison, our Director of Development & Community Outreach, is coordinating a community-wide coat drive for adult-size coats throughout October for our clients experiencing homelessness. To date, we have schools, businesses and congregations who are hosting drives.
