Standing Together This Purim

As our brothers and sisters in Israel face the reality of war—spending their days and nights in and out of shelters—they are unable to celebrate Purim as they should.

Being here in the United States, we have both a responsibility and a unique opportunity. We must celebrate Purim with them in our hearts and minds, praying for their safety, security, and G-d’s protection.

Please join us this Tuesday, March 3, as we gather for a night of purpose, prayer, and celebration:

📖 Megillah Reading: 5:30 PM at the Huntington Woods Library
🍷 Purim Feast: Following the Megillah, featuring words of inspiration.
🎶 Live Music: A special thank you to Avraham BenZev for providing the music to lift our spirits.

Let’s celebrate and pray for the safety of Israel.

✨Community Connection at Scotia Park TODAY✨

We’re excited to share that our Sukkah Festival at Scotia Park will overlap this week with Run for Their Lives, a local group that gathers every Sunday at 4 PM to walk and record a message of solidarity for the families of the hostages in Israel.

This Sunday marks a particularly meaningful moment, as it is expected to be the final walk, with the long-awaited return of the hostages anticipated today or tomorrow.

At around 4:20, both groups will come together for a few minutes of shared prayer, song, and unity before the video is taken.

Everyone is welcome! Celebrate Sukkos with cotton candy, crafts, a petting zoo and pony rides, inflatables, a horse-drawn sukkah ride, and lend your voice and heart to a moment of connection and hope.

Location: Scotia Park
Time: TODAY Sunday, 3–5 PM (joint video around 4:20 PM)
Hosted by: Chabad in Huntington Woods in collaboration with Run for Their Lives Oak Park

Chag Sameach & Am Yisrael Chai 🇮🇱🌿
