Our end of the holiday season post. We want to thank all of those who have supported our cause and continue to do so. We could not have done it without you.

We also wish to thank our junior volunteers for their consistent passion for service. Your commitment is truly what it is all about.

This year, our volunteers participated in our annual Thanksgiving food drive, a luncheon on Thanksgiving Day and a Holiday toy drive.

For our food drive, we collected and distributed over 150 dinners to families on Long Island.
On Thanksgiving Day, our volunteers served a hot lunch alongside students from Hofstra University school of nursing- anesthesia program.

Our junior volunteers also helped to distribute toys at Blanca’s House’s annual toy drive.

Thankful for a wonderful year and we look forward to 2025!!! Happy new year to all!!

What an amazing turnout at our Thanksgiving food drive. Overall, the volunteers handed out 100 bags of Thanksgiving dinners and helped pack 100 bags of fresh produce, thanks to the generosity of Fink’s Farm, in Wading river.

To all of our volunteers, your commitment to service, and making a difference, is what really makes this world go around.

Tri-CYA is an organization that provides after school care and tutoring services to students on Long Island. Please help our volunteer, Maddie Geldmacher, collect some last minute items to support this program.

A look back at our Thanksgiving Food Drive. Along with their parents, our volunteers handed out Thanksgiving dinners to those less fortunate. We left with our hearts full and warmed. Once again, thank you to our generous donors and supporters.

Ecuador, Day 3

106 children each received backpacks filled with school supplies and a pair of flip flops.

Through Blanca’s House organization, Kids for Courage will now be offering youth volunteer opportunities in Ecuador!

Our pilot program this past weekend was a huge success!

Gavin Mccormack (7th grade) traveled with the Blanca’s House medical mission team to Guayaquil, Ecuador.

Gavin visited a school and a clinic in a remote area in the countryside. He met with the Mayor of the town. He helped to provide lunch for the children on the first day, school supplies and treats on the second day, and more school supplies and flip flops for every child on the third day.

He also met with, observed and worked alongside medical professionals who were volunteering their time to help the locals.

The words compassion, humility, generosity and grit, are just a few that come to mind to describe the entire experience.

We went on this mission with the purpose of changing lives. I believe, they have changed ours.
