We build character through teamwork, sportsmanship, and passion for the game. AYSO Region 56 is Celebrating its 42nd year of commitment to the kids in the community of South Huntington Beach. We are also the home of the - all players play 3 quarters rule for age groups U6 - U12 regular fall season. American Youth Soccer Organization's (AYSO) mission is to develop and deliver quality youth soccer p

rograms where everyone builds positive character through participation in a fun, family environment based on the AYSO philosophies. Not only does region 56 offer the traditional recreational Soccer experience for all children. Region 56 also has a competitive program similar to club called EXTRA (formally plus). With the Extra program region 56 offers a little higher level of play and coaching. We are a Nationally recognized Region for it's committment to excellence in soccer programs.

Dear AYSO Family,

One of our AYSO families, the Garzas, needs our support. Their son Jackson was seriously injured in a e-bike accident on January 16th and has a long road of recovery ahead of him. His mom Deanna was a previous AYSO Region 56 Board member and continues to support our region, volunteering to run our gift basket auction this past Soccerfest.

Dear AYSO Region 56 Families,

We are excited to announce the dates for our Extra Program Tryouts for our Fall 2026!

The Extra program is a competitive-based program under the AYSO umbrella and offers children an opportunity to play at a higher level while retaining the benefits of participating in AYSO.

EXTRA teams compete against other EXTRA teams in Southern California.

EXTRA teams also compete in various tournaments throughout the year, selected by each coach/team.
