We’re still buzzing! NSSA alum and 3-time National Champion Seth Moniz just captured his first WCT victory at the Tahiti Pro with an absolutely massive, phenomenal performance in BIG Teahupo’o.

One of the coolest traditions at the National Championships is our annual essay contest. While every surfer arrives with dreams of earning a national title, a few also have the opportunity to take home something they’ll treasure for a lifetime.

This year’s winning essays earned signed surfboards from three of surfing’s biggest stars. Finn Castle won a signed board by Griffin Colapinto, Brett Gregorius took home a signed Crosby Colapinto board and for the first time a tie was declared with twin sisters Iciar and Lucia Lopez sharing a board signed by Caroline Marks.

Riviera Hunter wins two titles at the Nationals! The prestigious National Open Womens and the Girls Airshow. What an outstanding championship performance from Rivi!!!

Santa Cruz’s Riviera Hunter made four finals and earned the Open women’s and Girls Air Show titles at the National Scholastic Surfing Association National Championships, which concluded Thursday in Huntington Beach.
