Before we were ever called to lead a congregation, we were called to lead a home.
Your family is your first ministry. Not the overflow of it. Not what’s left after the set list, the rehearsals, and the meetings. The first one.
Scripture doesn’t separate the two. Paul told Timothy that a leader who doesn’t care well for his own household has no business caring for the church of God. That’s not a warning meant to shame us. It’s grace. It’s God saying: *start where I planted you.*
Some of the most faithful ministry you’ll do this week won’t happen on a platform. It’ll happen at a dinner table. On a couch. In a bedtime prayer with someone who’s been waiting for you to be fully present.
Lead your home well, and everything you carry to the platform will be truer for it. 🙏
Send this to someone who needs it today.
