Huntington Beach is full of events this Fourth of July weekend, and people have staked their spots for the Waves of Freedom Parade. Here's what's going on courtesy of Huntington Beach Events.

--The 110th Independence Day Celebration is free to all. It includes a full day of activities on July 4 and Pier Plaza Festival (vendors & food sales) July 5-6

---6:30 -11 a.m. Pancake Breakfast, Lake Park $5
---7 a.m. 5K Run
---10 a.m. - Noon Main Street ParadRoute: 9th & PCH - onto Main - ends at Yorktown (optional parade bleacher seats $15 pre, $20 day of)

Tax incentives have been an issue for filming and have led to some production that has left the state and country.

"The California Senate is currently considering a bill designed to extend and expand the current program of incentives, which is intended to keep film and TV work in the state, and deter a continuing trend of runaway production to other states and countries that also offer financial incentives"
