The Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM) is announcing the availability of, and requests comments on, the Draft Proposed Program (DPP) for the 11th National Outer Continental Shelf (OCS) Oil and Gas Leasing Program (11th Program or National OCS Program).

Magnolia Tank Farm being used as a large freshwater reservoir for hundreds of birds!!! What will happen when they fill this in and build homes and hotel? Where will all this water go?????

A community meeting for the SEHB area is scheduled for January 22nd at the Edison Community Center, commencing at 6pm. Updates on Ascon, Magnolia Tank Farm, and Edison Park will be presented. It is recommended that you attend to stay informed, and consider inviting your neighbor to hear about upcoming developments in the SEHB area this year.

Ascon landfill is starting to haul clean soil into the site, neighbors in SEHB can expect 100 trucks a day going in and out of the site.
If you experience any issue, with regards to the trucks, emissions, dust, or excessive noise from constant street sweepers, please let them know.
