Se necesita un permiso de la ciudad de Huntington Beach para vender en la playa. Las multas pueden ser de hasta $1000.

The City’s police and code enforcement are taking a zero-tolerance approach to illegal sidewalk vending. Unpermitted vending, whether cut fruit, shaved ice, beach chairs, or anything else, is prohibited.

• A valid Sidewalk Vendor Permit is required to sell anywhere in the City.
• Fines of up to $1,000 will be issued.
• Vendors cannot provide or sell any service to any person, including the renting of merchandise to customers.
• Vending is prohibited on the Beach, Pier Plaza, Pier, Beach Parking Lot, and Beach Service Road, even with a Sidewalk Vendor Permit.

Thank you to the Ocean View School District for recognizing Oak View ComUNIDAD and Protect Huntington Beach for our efforts to help narrow the food insecurity gap in our community.

Our food distribution program began during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic and continues to serve families to this day. Thanks to our partnership with Protect HB and neighbors, our distributions are well-organized and consistently stocked with nutritious food for local families.

We are truly grateful for this recognition and look forward to continuing to serve the Huntington Beach community.

Our Assisteens just packed a lot of love into some small envelopes

They created 35 “Birthday in an Envelope” bundles with handmade cards and Target gift cards for students in the Golden West College CARE Program, helping student parents feel seen and celebrated on their special day.

We are so proud of these teens for using their creativity and time to brighten birthdays and support local families working hard toward their educational goals. 💛🎉
