What do young families with babies seem to need day and night? Yes you are correct: diapers. Saturday January 17th Surf City Rotary and Fountain Valley Rotary are collecting cleaned gently used household items and new items for Marines at Camp Pendleton. Surf City Rotary members with many many diapers for Marine families.

Surf City Rotary has been busy making a positive impact on the lives of adults and children. Wednesday January 14th. Homeless Intervention Services OC (HIS-OC) spoke to the group. This is an organization that is helping families and individuals into permanent housing. They are very impressive. For more information or tour of their facilities contact Rick at [email protected]. When a young Marine and his family report for duty at Camp Pendleton they are given a small empty apartment. Often times these families show up with only what fits in a car. There have been times for the first days they sleep on the floor. You can help Surf City Rotary help these families. Please mark your calendars - on January 18, 2026 donate clean gently used items and/ or diapers.
