Krieger Gaming is a Veteran & First Responder 501(c)(3) charity and online gaming community! We fight that by connecting people through the power of gaming! Connections save lives! Why Gaming? Playing video games has numerous benefits for mental health. Video games can help relieve stress, help with the recovery from psychological trauma like Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), and most importa

ntly help build and maintain social interactions [WebMd, October 25th, 2021]. Whether we’re relaxing in the ship’s lounge after a long watch, winding down from a patrol on a forward operating base, or even just sitting on the couch at home after a long day; many Veterans & First Responders turn to video games for that escape. Additionally, Krieger (German for Warrior) has been a Veteran & First Responder Gaming Community since 2009. Over the years, we realized how important it is to be a part of a strong supportive community. We incorporated in November 2022 with the mission of using Gaming to do some real good. We accomplish our mission through three primary objectives:
1 - Community
2 - Support
3 - Outreach

Today we honor 250 years of service, sacrifice, and resilience from the warriors who have worn the uniform and the first responders who answer the call at home. As a military, veterans, and first responder gaming community, we know that freedom isn’t free—and that the battles don’t always end when the shift or deployment is over.

Gaming gives us a place to decompress, reconnect, and remember that none of us fights alone. That’s why we say: Connections save lives. Whether you’re active duty, a veteran, a first responder, or a supporter, there is always a seat on our squad and a voice in our Discord.

July 2nd is National Wildland Firefighter Day. Today, we honor the wildland firefighters and support personnel who stand between our communities and devastating wildfires, often far from the public eye.
From local, state, Tribal, and federal crews to contract firefighters, dispatchers, aviation teams, planners, and logistics specialists, it truly takes all of us to protect life, property, and our natural and cultural resources.
A special thank you goes to those currently on the line fighting wildfires across the country right now—working long hours in difficult conditions to keep others safe. Your courage, sacrifice, and commitment do not go unnoticed.
To every wildland firefighter past and present: we see you, we appreciate you, and we are grateful for your service.

Today we mark two powerful dates in American history that share the same day – the U.S. Army Birthday and Flag Day.

On June 14, 1775, the Continental Congress formed what would become the United States Army, answering the call to defend a new nation. Two years later, on June 14, 1777, our leaders adopted the Stars and Stripes as the flag of the United States, a symbol of unity, sacrifice, and the freedoms we continue to defend.

At Krieger Gaming, we are proud to be a Veteran and First Responder gaming community, built to fight isolation and support the mental health of those who have worn the uniform or the badge. To every Soldier past and present, and to every member of our community who continues to serve their country and their communities: thank you. Your service, your stories, and your presence here matter.

June is National PTSD Awareness Month.🕹️💚

In our community, we honor the veterans and first responders who have seen the worst days so the rest of us don’t have to. PTSD is not a weakness—it’s an injury from surviving what many could not.

If you’re struggling with nightmares, hyper‑alertness, burnout, or feeling “checked out” from life, you are not broken, and you are not alone. You deserve support, not stigma.

Here’s how we show up this month and every month:

- Squad up: No one queues solo when they’re having a rough night—reach out in chat or DMs, and we’ll run with you.

- Check on your buddies: If someone goes quiet, send a quick “Hey, you good?” That simple check‑in can matter more than you know.

-Keep it safe: Our servers are a judgment-free zone for vets, first responders, and their families. Respect boundaries, no trauma‑pushing, and no joking about su***de or self‑harm.

As we celebrate today, many understand the somber meaning behind Memorial Day. At times, it can be disheartening to see others view it simply as a long weekend for barbecues and small vacations. Instead, let us use this time to honor and celebrate the lives and sacrifices of all those we once called brothers and sisters in arms — the men and women who gave everything so that we could continue to live our lives in freedom, safety, and peace.

Their sacrifice was not made for recognition or praise, but out of duty, courage, and love for the nation and people they served. Today, while we spend time with family and friends, let us also remember those families who carry the weight of an empty seat at the table because someone they loved answered that call.

May we never forget that the freedoms and opportunities we enjoy today were paid for by those who were willing to give their tomorrow for our today.

🚔💙 This Law Enforcement Appreciation Week, Krieger Gaming proudly stands beside the men and women who serve and protect our communities every day.

Krieger Gaming Community, we have some news to share with you all:
After much debating and maybe a deep sigh of relief, the Board of Directors for Krieger Gaming Inc. has decided to step down from its 501(c)(3) charity status and decided to focus more on being a peer-to-peer support and gaming community. All funds that we currently have under our charity are being donated to Bouldercrest, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping veterans and first responders transform their struggles into strength through post-traumatic growth.
The only things changing at this time for our community are our charity status and community leadership, and definitely less paperwork, so we can spend more time with KRG friends, helping support one another through the good and bad, and continue building our meaningful connections with members.
We want to thank everyone who has helped and supported the charity known as Krieger Gaming Inc., and we appreciate the hard work over the past years. Now, the future of the Krieger Gaming Community still looks bright and is moving forward. With this change, there are bound to be more awesome things to come down the line. The only thing missing is you... and paperwork.

Today, we remember the lives lost, the families forever changed, and the community that came together in the wake of the Oklahoma City bombing on April 19, 1995.
We honor the 168 victims, including 19 children, whose lives were taken too soon. Their memory lives on through the Oklahoma City National Memorial—a place of reflection, resilience, and hope.
In the face of unimaginable tragedy, Oklahoma showed the world what strength, compassion, and unity look like. As we pause today, may we continue to carry forward that spirit of kindness and commitment to one another.
