As Childhood Cancer Awareness Month continues, our mission to advance treatments, fund groundbreaking research and power more tomorrows has never been more important. When you support the 8th Annual Will Strong Charity Golf Event, you help make those tomorrows possible for kids like Ashley, our 2024 Will’s Warrior.🎗️

Because of advancements in research and treatment, Ashley is now in remission and living life to the fullest like she should. This summer, she enjoyed Girl Scouts, Cooking Camp, and Cheerleading Camp, traveled with her family to Las Vegas and Catalina, and cheered on at the 4th of July parade!

Now starting 5th grade at a new school, Ashley is excited to join the volleyball squad and learn to play the piano. Most importantly, she is in good health and has remained in remission for four years!!

For all of us, Going Gold extends far beyond September. We wear the gold ribbon every day as a promise to Will and the 400,000 children who will be diagnosed with cancer this year: we will keep advancing research, fighting for better treatments and funding cures that give more children the chance at full, healthy lives.🎗️

These are just some of the incredible faces and stories we’ve had the privilege of honoring as Will’s Warriors and Angels. Each recognition celebrates the courageous children and families facing childhood cancer with extraordinary strength, resilience and heart. They are a powerful reminder of why this fight matters and why we keep showing up.

September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, a time to honor the children fighting cancer and the families walking alongside them. For the Team, this month and its enduring mission are deeply personal because of our beautiful angel, Will. 🎗️👼

Seven years ago, we lost Will to a rare and still-unknown type of brain cancer. In just five months, he endured chemotherapy, surgeries, ports, stem cell collection and so much more than any child should ever have to experience. Though his life was far too short, the love, strength and pure light he brought into this world continue to make an impact today.

We wear the gold ribbon not just in September, but every day, as a promise to Will and to the 400,000 children diagnosed with cancer each year. We will continue to fight for better treatments, groundbreaking research, more answers and, ultimately, more tomorrows.

Through our partnership with , we’re turning Will’s story into meaningful action by supporting research that moves discoveries from the lab toward patient care and resources that help children not only survive cancer, but thrive beyond it.

Will’s story is the reason we started. His legacy is the reason we continue. And our hope is that the work we do today will help change what childhood cancer looks like for the families who come after us.
