When the Pacific Symphony wraps up THEIR Summer Series, they do it BIG! Cannons and fireworks 🎆🎇! The Huntington Beach Concert Band will be performing on the lawn, starting at 6:45, for all the concert goers as they head to their seats. Please say “hi!” if you’re walking past. This is always a great concert!

Week #10 is finally here! While we are sad to be ending the Summer Series for 2026, we are ready for one more concert on the hillside. Cruise Control will be bringing the tunes this Sunday, August 30 @ 5pm. Our friend (& superhero!) Bounce Around Party Rental will be there with free (inflatable) axe-throwing also as we say goodbye to a great summer!

Week #9!!! A huge favorite will be performing this Sunday, Aug 23, starting at 5pm. The Wiseguys Big Band Machine is full of top notch talent and will bring that big band music to the hillside. Possibility of a conga line happening is very strong so be prepared to join in. As always, picnics are definitely encouraged. Join us on Sunday!

U.S. Marine Corps Fleet Bands

THIS ⬆️ is who’ll be on the stage this next Sunday (August 16) for Concert #8!

The 3rd Marine Wingcraft Air Band will begin at 5pm under the band shell on the hillside. Looks like some more perfect Huntington Beach weather for a concert in the park - let’s wind down the summer with the Marines!

This is week 7 of our 10 week Summer Concert Series. Please join us TOMORROW (August 9) at 5pm. We have a variety of music ready to go - some patriotic, some show tunes, some rock…it promises a little something for everyone. The Huntington Beach Concert Band has 70 musicians ready to fill the hillside with wonderful music. Pack a picnic & a blanket & join us! 🎶

Only 2 more days until HBCB gets to perform in the park.
Most music you hear in a band concert is written using these 2 clefs. The treble clef (on the left) is primarily for the woodwinds and some of the brass instruments. The bass clef (on the right) is for the lower sounding brass (tuba and trombone) and the bassoon. The different clefs help keep the notes in a readable range for most instruments.

Just 3 more days until the Huntington Beach Concert Band brings music to the hillside. We have 3 double reed instruments ready to play - 2 bassoons and 1 oboe. Listen carefully - they each add a unique voice to the band 🎶
