Today our Secretary presented a check to Carroll Academy in the amount of $1,000 to help buy uniforms. This was part of the $2500 Spotlight Grant to help the kids of Carroll County with school supply needs.

My brothers and sisters I know we have had some things going on with a couple members, but I also need to report I just got off the phone with Samantha Hershels daughter. Hershel is in the hospital here in Huntingdon. According to Samantha Hershel was admitted yesterday for his gallbladder. He had surgery this morning and all went well. Please keep your prayers with Hershel family and Hershel as well. Please keep your continued prayers for Rebecca Alan and the family. Also keep Danny Joe Wallace and Judy Wallace in our prayers he had heart surgery and is in Jackson. So our lodge has a lot going on please keep every in your prayers. Dawn Martin Secretary

Our sister Rebecca Brotherton, and brother Alan Martin lost their sister and are requesting help with pallbearers to serve at her service. Any able body Elks who can be available for her service on Monday at 1pm please reach out. The current request is for 4 people. Thanks in advance for your help.
