Phenomenal work by our A-Platoon! We are always happy to make sure that our residents and visitors are prepared and safe in the event of an emergency.

Yesterday, a resident of Lower Moreland Township stopped by our Bryn Athyn station with two defective smoke detectors. Members of our A Platoon responded to the resident's home, removed the faulty units, and installed two new smoke detectors that were provided by Fetters Mill Fire Rescue.

This is just one example of the many community safety services our members provide beyond emergency response. Working smoke detectors are one of the most important tools for protecting your family and providing early warning in the event of a fire.

We are proud to serve our community and help keep our residents safe, one home at a time.

Ryan Ruddell, a key member of our team, is featured in an article discussing the role and responsibilities of an apparatus operator. Ryan serves as Union Vice-President, Firefighter/EMT, and soon to be Advanced EMT, while also contributing to various functions including engineering and technical support. We congratulate Ryan on this notable feature.

We love supporting our community, just as much as our community supports us. Crews on duty participated in a Car Wash Fundraiser for the PTA at Lower Moreland High School. They did an excellent job and the ambulance looked great! Thank you so much!

With this new certification, Scott enhances our Bryn Athyn station’s ability to provide child car seat safety inspections—helping ensure our youngest community members are traveling as safely as possible.
