Providing Clothing For Our Community Lydia’s Loft opened its doors to clients for the very first time on Feb 10, 2004. expressing the need.

We are a ministry under First Baptist Church in Huntersville. For over 18 years, Lydia's Loft has been an essential part of our community, providing clothing and other essential items to individuals and families in need, free of charge. We service individuals and families throughout Mecklenburg and surrounding counties. In order to receive services from Lydia's Loft, clients must obtain a referral from a local organization, such a a food pantry, church, school, etc. They are then welcomed to "shop" every 60 days for clothing. We are a 100% volunteer driven organization. No one is paid, including our director. We rely solely on the generosity of our community to keep our doors open. We gratefully accept the following donations:
Gently used Mens, Womens and Childrens clothing items, all items, all sizes
