MEET YOUR CAMP DIRECTOR:
🥍John Bellissimo
As a coach, teacher, and Athletic Director, John was inspired to create Superior Lax Training by his passionate and dedicated students and players.
Throughout his professional teaching and coaching career, both in North Carolina and Long Island, NY, John has built strong connections and a solid foundation within a community of teachers, parents, students, and players.
Since 2018, John has been the Boy’s Varsity Lacrosse Head Coach at The Community School Of Davidson in Davidson, NC. He is looking forward to continuing as Head Coach for the 2023 season. Along with coaching, in 2022, he joined CSD’s Athletic Leadership Team.
In addition to coaching and teaching at CSD, he has also been head and assistant coach for local travel team, the Carolina Miners, over the past 6 years throughout the summer and fall seasons.
Most recently, he started his own travel team, the Carolina Eagles, for his high school players. They just wrapped up their second fall season.
He can’t wait to meet everyone + show you how much fun lacrosse can be!
