‼️ FLOOD WATCH: SEPTEMBER 29–OCTOBER 2 ‼️

The National Weather Service has issued a Flood Watch for portions of South Central Texas, including Kerr County, as a changing weather pattern brings an increased potential for heavy rainfall Wednesday through Friday.

2–4 inches of rain are possible, with isolated amounts up to 8 inches.

With that much rainfall, flooding could occur along creeks, streams, rivers, low-water crossings, and other flood-prone areas.

Some locations could experience rapid rises and significant flooding. Please take a few minutes now to prepare:
• Stay weather-aware and monitor local updates
• Know your safest route to higher ground
• Avoid low-water crossings during and after heavy rain
• Never drive through flooded roadways
• Check on neighbors who may need additional assistance

Conditions can change quickly in the Hill Country. Please stay alert, stay informed, and look out for one another.

This beautiful Hill Country home, created by Southern Living in partnership with Kurk Homes , will be open for public tours beginning September 18, and a portion of tour proceeds will benefit HPS.

We're so excited to be part of this special opportunity celebrating the Texas Hill Country while supporting the places, stories, and spirit of Hunt.
