We recently made a donation to Michele Deknikker.

Michele was diagnosed in December 2025 with mucoepidermoid carcinoma, a rare cancer of the salivary gland.

After several scans and MRIs, doctors learned that the cancer has spread to the lymph nodes behind her throat. Surgery is now her only option, with the hope of removing all of the cancer and leaving nothing behind.

This will require at least a seven-day hospital stay and will involve a tracheostomy tube, a feeding tube, therapy, and working with a speech pathologist to relearn how to swallow.

Please keep Michele and her family in your thoughts and prayers as she continues her journey toward healing.🙏🎗️💕
