Humboldt County Housing Development Corporation The organization receives funding from the city of Humboldt and the County in addition from producing a modest return on some of its activities.

Board members: Amy Donahe, Vouth Varangkounh, Clifton Kalafatich, Bob Rasmussen, Alissa O'Connor, Rick Pedersen, Cheryl Rhead, Donnell Skow, Kirk Whittlesey, Steve Larson, Brittany Dickey & David Boswell The Humboldt County Housing Development Corporation was incorporated in 1997 and has worked to increase and improve housing options in the county since its inception. The HCHDC has worked to achie

ve this goal through starting new housing developments, offering housing rehabilitation grants, and constructing homes and training workforce through the high school building trades program. These programs have been a huge asset to the county and have played a large role in the 5% population increase experienced by the City of Humboldt in the 2010 census.
