Honoring our veterans just got a little easier. 🇺🇸 The Humboldt Veterans Memorial now has an official website, making it more accessible than ever for our community and beyond to connect with this incredible tribute.

From the first groundbreaking at Worthington Park to the laying of the granite stones, this memorial was built by and for the Humboldt community. Now, you can browse the online gallery, learn how to support our ongoing efforts, and honor the legacy of those who served—right from your phone or computer.

The Humboldt Veterans Memorial is a community-driven effort to create a permanent, respectful tribute to the veterans of Humboldt and Humboldt County — those still with us and those we've lost.

We need your help. We are very unhappy to report the Humboldt Veterans Memorial/Tribute had some severe damage to the walkways. Someone has caused deep cuts into the epoxy and into the stained concrete. Another area someone threw large rocks down at the walkway and made cuts into it as well.
​The damage has been reported to the police department and we are checking locally for camera feed.
​The repairs for the walkways is estimated to be over $12,000.00.
​It is sooooo sad that the Humboldt County Soldiers who are represented in the project sacrificed appropriately 4510 years of their lives, many returning with injuries and appropriately 54 giving their lives to protect us all and keep our freedoms, can't even have a "Thank You" tribute stay free of deliberate damage!

It has been awhile since we have given an update on the Humboldt Veterans' Memorial/Tribute. We are expecting the next order of bricks to arrive the 1st part of July. We are currently entering soldier information for engraving new bricks, and corrections to a few previously engraved bricks.
If you have not gotten your or a family member's DD214 or NGB 22 into us yet; NOW IS THE TIME PLEASE! After this batch it may take some time to get one added as we will only be able to do more when we get 16-20 soldiers' forms collected and Donations allow.
Thank you to everyone that has submitted their soldier's information and/or have donated to build this "Thank You" and Tribute to our county military personnel!
We still have wonderful things to add to the project and it will never be "done" as long as our people are in the service of protecting and sacrificing.

Hope everyone has gotten the chance to check out the Humboldt County Veterans Tribute at Worthington Park. We are pleased to update that the 2nd and 3rd phases cement has been poured. We are still waiting on more bricks.

DONATIONS STILL NEEDED TO FULLY FUND THE PROJECT.

We still have military people in the county that should be recognized. This Tribute is for all military service people that have completed their service and have either been born in, lived in, or died in Humboldt County.
We do need discharge papers. DD214 or NGB22. The cost of the project has increased drastically since the start of the project. We had estimated the individual bricks to cost 140.00. It is turning out to be more. The project is not yet fully funded. We need all the help we can get.
