📚🍎 Back to School Means Back to the Barn, Shop, and Greenhouse! 🌻🔧🐄

A new school year is here, and that means it's time to kick off another exciting season of FFA and agricultural projects!

🐖 Animal projects are getting underway, and it's time to start selecting, feeding, and caring for your next show prospect.

🔨 Ag Mechanics students—it's time to start planning, designing, and building those incredible projects.

💐 Floral Design competitors—get those creative ideas blooming as contest season approaches!

Whether you're a first-year exhibitor or a seasoned competitor, remember that every champion starts with a first step. The hard work, early mornings, late nights, and dedication you put in now will pay off in the months ahead.

The Humble Livestock Show Cooperative wishes all of our students, parents, teachers, and volunteers a safe, successful, and rewarding school year. We can't wait to watch this year's projects come to life and cheer you on every step of the way!

80 Years of Tradition. 80 Years of Dedication. 80 Years of Community.

For 80 years, the Humble ISD Livestock Show has been more than an event—it's been a place where hard work, responsibility, and lifelong memories are made.

Generations of FFA and 4-H families, volunteers, educators, buyers, and supporters have helped shape young men and women through the values of agriculture, leadership, and service. Every early morning in the barn, every long day preparing animals, every handshake in the sale ring, and every lesson learned has become part of a legacy that continues to grow.

Here's to celebrating the exhibitors of yesterday, today, and tomorrow. Thank you to everyone who has made the past 80 years possible and to those who will carry this tradition into the future.

🇺🇸 250 Years of Freedom. 80 Years of Tradition. One Incredible Community. 🇺🇸

As we celebrate America's 250th Birthday, we're reminded that the values that built our nation are the same ones we strive to pass on through FFA, 4-H, and our livestock families—hard work, integrity, leadership, service, and a love for agriculture.

For 80 years, the Humble ISD Livestock Show has helped shape young men and women into future farmers, ranchers, veterinarians, business leaders, teachers, and community servants. Every early morning in the barn, every lesson learned in the show ring, and every helping hand given to a fellow exhibitor reflects the very best of America.

Here's to celebrating 250 years of freedom and 80 years of growing the next generation of agricultural leaders.

Happy Independence Day, and thank you to every exhibitor, volunteer, buyer, parent, educator, alumni, and supporter who keeps this tradition alive.

Happy Father's Day from the Humble Livestock Show Coop!
Today we celebrate the dads, stepdads, and father figures who make the barn lights come on before sunrise and stay on long after sunset.
Thank you for the early mornings, late-night feed runs, trailer pulls, show-day nerves, endless encouragement, and the countless lessons taught between the pens and the show ring. You are more than supporters—you are mentors, role models, and partners in raising the next generation of leaders.
Whether your youth wears a blue jacket or a green clover, your dedication helps build responsibility, character, work ethic, and a love for agriculture that lasts a lifetime.
To every father who has helped hold a lead rope, clean a stall, calm show-day jitters, or celebrate a hard-earned ribbon—we see you, and we thank you.

Hey y’all! 🤠🐄
Come on out to our FINAL HLSR CO-OP meeting of the season tonight at 6:30 at AHS!
It’s time to pick our new officers and give a HUGE round of applause to the parents who’ve been carrying the reins for years. Their kids are graduating out of the program, and now it’s our turn to step into the arena and help keep this wagon rolling. 💙💛
Our CO-OP/Booster Club is completely parent-run, and we help make the Humble Livestock Show & Rodeo successful by supporting our ag teachers, students, events, buyers and all the behind-the-scenes chaos that somehow turns into magic every year. 🐖🐐🐓
We NEED more parents involved!
There may only be a few official officer positions, but there’s a place for everyone. If enough folks pitch in, we can break things into smaller committees so no one person gets stuck shoveling the whole barn alone. 😉 Even taking on one small task makes a big difference.
So dust off your boots, grab a friend, and come help support the kids and program we all love. See y’all tonight! 🐂✨

Well It starts all over again for the Young FFA members from AHS, HHS,SCHS,KPARK and KHS. Steer selection was tonight and there were 20 steers for 20 hopeful Auction attendees. Best of efforts to you all and cant wait to see each of you in the arena in 2027. Thank you BB's Feed ms Brenda for coming out to support the members on their journey.

FFA / 4-H Parent Reality Check 🌾
It’s not just a project… it’s a lifestyle.
Somewhere along the way, your vehicle became part feed room, part hay bale storage…
“We’ll be quick at the barn” turned into a full evening…
And checking the weather became part of your daily routine.
But through all the early mornings, long days, and extra chores—
you wouldn’t trade it for anything.
Because it’s not just about the animals…
it’s about the work ethic, responsibility, and life lessons being built along the way. 💛💚
