Grateful Americans Charity brings awareness and provides resources for the PTSD Foundation of America and its Camp Hope through fundraising. The PTSD Foundation of America and its Camp Hope located in Houston, TX provides hope and healing for combat Veterans with PTSD.

❤️🇺🇸 A Legacy Worth Continuing

For 20 years, the Braden Bailess Memorial Golf Tournament has honored Braden’s memory while supporting Veterans and their families.

When the 20th tournament was expected to be the final year, Grateful Americans Charity stepped in to partner with the Braden Bailess Memorial Foundation and help ensure this incredible tradition could continue.

Now, we’re proud to celebrate Year 21.

🚨 IMPORTANT EVENT UPDATE 🚨

Due to the incoming tropical storm and the expected weather conditions in the Denton area, we have made the difficult decision to postpone the 8th Annual DFW Charity BBQ Cook-Off.

While this was not an easy decision, the safety of our attendees, BBQ teams, vendors, volunteers, staff, and everyone traveling to the event has to come first.

The DFW Charity BBQ Cook-Off has been rescheduled for October 1-2, 2027. 🇺🇸

We are incredibly disappointed that we won’t be gathering with everyone this weekend, especially after all the planning, preparation, and excitement that has gone into this event. We are deeply grateful for your support and understanding.

Please stay safe, and we look forward to seeing everyone in 2027 for an even bigger BBQ weekend!
