This local children's club meets every 2nd Tuesday of the month at The Overlook in Humble, TX from 6:00-7:00. In 2015 after church my 7 year old daughter and I sat in a local parking lot waiting to pick up my other children. Quietly Jamie sat in the back seat fully focused with her pen and paper. Once her task was finished she looked up and instantly lit up like a Christmas tree! She started to ex
plain to me a million miles an hour how she felt that she needed to go visit local children in hospitals to spread the word of God. Jamie then handed me the note that she had been so focused on writing. The note was addressed to the sick children and flowed with sweet words that encouraged the children to not be scared and to reach out to God. From this point on she spoke non stop for the rest of the night and we just knew it was her calling from God. That night the Jesus Helper's Club was born. So now our journey begins to bring bibles and words of encouragement to sick children and others in need. This club is designed for children, but adults are more then welcome to volunteer. Remember your spark can become a flame that changes everything!
