Congratulations to our Lake Houston Top Teens who helped their school bands shine at the Galena Park ISD Marching Band Festival! Among 16 competing schools, Summer Creek High School earned 1st place and Atascocita High School earned 2nd place! 🏆🎶

💙 Awareness is power. Education is protection.

Today, the Lake Houston Chapter of Top Teens of America participated in Human Trafficking Awareness Training, helping our Teens recognize warning signs, understand potential dangers, and learn how to seek help.

The need for this education is clear. According to the United Nations’ 2024 Global Report on Trafficking in Persons:

🔹 Children represented 38% of detected trafficking victims worldwide in 2022.
🔹 The number of detected child victims increased 31% between 2019 and 2022. (unric.org⁠)

As part of their ExCeL Leadership Journey, our Teens strengthened the Education pillar, gaining knowledge to protect themselves, support their peers, and become informed leaders in their communities. Every experience is another step toward leading with awareness, purpose, and service!

A heartfelt thank you to our community partners, Crime Stoppers of Houston and San Jacinto College North Campus, for providing valuable safety education, sharing educational opportunities, and investing in our Teens’ futures!

Today, our Lake Houston Chapter Top Teens had the honor of celebrating the beautiful women in our chapter who carry one of life’s sweetest titles, Grandmother! 💐

Our Teens made the moment special with roses, light bites, a special song created just for them, and an opportunity to hear words of wisdom from our grandmothers. 🌹✨

It was a beautiful intergenerational moment filled with love, laughter, and life lessons. Our Teens were reminded that there is so much wisdom to be gained when we take the time to listen to those who came before us.

To our amazing Top Lady Grandmothers, we celebrate you, we appreciate you, and we thank you for the love, wisdom, and legacy you continue to pour into the next generation! 🩷💙

🩷💙 TTA LAKE HOUSTON SHOWED UP & SHOWED OUT! 🏆❤️

What an incredible day of service, awareness, and unity in support of Sickle Cell Association of Houston!

And we were honored to receive 1st PLACE for the Most Registered Group! 🏆🎉

But the most meaningful moment of the day went far beyond winning a trophy. ❤️

Our Top Teens stood in support of TLOD/TTA Diamond Dynasty Gulf Coast Chapter as they honored the memory of one of their beloved Teens who transitioned at only 15 years old from Sickle Cell two years ago. Joining them during the balloon release was a powerful reminder of why we serve.

Today our Teens didn’t just walk. They showed compassion. They supported another chapter. They honored a young life. And they experienced what service with purpose truly means.

So incredibly proud of our TTA Lake Houston Teens and grateful for every parent, Top Lady, and Lord who helped make today such a success! 🩷💙

Monday Memories. Lifesaving Impact. ❤️

Throwing it back to an incredible day of service as our chapters partnered with the American Red Cross to help save lives through our Multi Chapter Blood Drive.

Together, we welcomed 54 presenting donors, collected 59 units of blood, and made an impact that could help save up to 177 lives. Every donor, volunteer, and supporter helped make a difference.

Service is what we do. Community is who we are.

Today, the Lake Houston Chapter’s Prospective Ladies proudly volunteered at Mayor John Whitmire’s Back 2 School Backpack & Health Screening Fair, serving our community from 10:30 AM to 2:30 PM.

Their willingness to give their time, energy, and compassion helped students and families prepare for a successful school year. Service is at the heart of who we are, and these remarkable women demonstrated what it means to make a meaningful impact.

Thank you, Ladies, for representing the Lake Houston Chapter with excellence and for showing that when women come together to serve, our communities are stronger.

Because of the generosity of our Lake Houston Chapter family and supporters, our graduating seniors received laundry bags filled with essentials, encouragement, and love as they prepare to begin their next chapter.
