This is a more than well overdue shout out to acknowledge those club members that were vital to getting our club opened. As many of you are aware, I was given the task back in November of overseeing the club renovations. When membership decided it wanted to re-open vs rebuild at this time, I chose a deadline of St. Patrick's Day to re-open. While it seemed to be a realistic goal initially, the actual amount of work required to meet that anticipated deadline became quite the challenge. I personally cannot thank the members enough that went above and beyond to help my job be as smooth as possible given the hurdles we encountered along the way. Much respect and appreciation going out to the following members: Greg Sobczak. Kevin Richardson, Rich Perry, Chris Russo, Nick Russo, Ray Jackman, AJ Koberski, Patrick Hogan, and Rob Kenerson. Countless hours , if not weeks, were committed to by these club members, and they deserve to be recognized for their selflessness. They are what makes this club great. Gary Twombly

Reminder we will be hosting a Open House at the club Saturday and Sunday from 10-12 to tour the damage area to the building from the fire,so everyone can see for themselves and ask questions on what options we as a membership have and how we will be moving forward as a membership

Winter weather alert! We need your help clearing walkways and entrances tomorrow. This is a great opportunity to get your hours early. We do have a snowblower you can use if you're skilled operating one.

With a heavy heart I share this sad news, ex president Tom Sullivan has past away. He fought the good fight and he will be missed he will never be forgotten. I know Eddie has welcomed him home rest in peace my friend you will be missed our thoughts and prayers are with Paula and the Sullivan family!

Snow shoveling anyone? Great workout, great way to get hours done early! Walkways and front entrance, cleanup. We do have a snowblower for the side driveway so don't be scared! This coming Sunday.

I would like to say thank you to the club officers, Eboard members, bar staff, and the membership as a whole for making 2023 a great season. I was honored to lead a this great group of members for the past 4 years, some of which were challenging as you all know.

I wish the new President Steve Richardson,Vice President Rich Perry and all the Eboard the best in 2024. Thank you all in advance for stepping up and moving the club forward.

There are also a lot of members that go over and above for the club and don't get recognized. I want you all to know it has not been overlooked.I appreciated all your help and your dedication to the club. If it weren't for all of you, we would not have the best boat club in town.

Thank you and here is to a great 2024! Happy New Year!

Services for Ed Babcock will be Friday December 1 at Keohane funeral home in Hingham 10am to 2pm burial will be private following service, celebration of life will be at the club following burial.
