It is with a heavy heart, but with immense gratitude for a life beautifully lived, that we share the passing of one of our club’s most remarkable members at the age of 83.
Joining Lions in 1980, Janice was a trailblazer in every sense of the word. When the organization officially welcomed women to serve alongside men in 1987, she didn't just take her seat at the table—she helped lead the way. Over her 46 years of dedicated service, her intelligence, determination, and deep knowledge shaped not only our local club but also shaped efforts at higher levels within the Lions organization, where she served with distinction in numerous capacities.
Her charisma and sharp mind made her a natural leader, a cherished mentor, and a powerful force for good in our community. She gave so much of her time and heart to the mission of service, leaving behind a legacy that will be felt for generations.
We will deeply miss her presence, her wisdom, and her unwavering spirit.
