We have some very very exciting news for the ferals of the Lowcountry! Stella’s Southern Angels,Libby and Mace’s Place and Happy’s Porch are teaming together and renting a mobile spay/neuter van!! We are working on the details now to get everything finalized but we have 2 local vets donating their time and myself,Laura (LMP) and Breanna(Happy’s Porch) will also be donating our time to get as many ferals done as possible in one weekend! We will also be doing Vaccines/ear tipping/and microchipping as well as deworming. We are so very excited to be doing this!! We will release more details once we figure them all out. We are planning on parking the van in one spot and having TNR cats dropped off with us. We will start taking appointments once we can and hopefully will be able to this as often as we can! We will be asking for donations when we get our timeline set and maybe ever doing fundraisers to help pay for everything! I am beyond happy and cannot wait to get started. The ferals need everyone’s help and we are doing our best to get them taken care of as much as we can!! Please share this post so we can get the word out! Thank you all so much!!

WE HAVE THE SWEETEST KITTENS AVAIL FOR ADOPTION!! All are neutered,spayed,felv/fiv neg,ear tipped and microchipped. Adoption fee is 175$ which def doesn’t cover what I’ve spent on them but I can’t charge 250+ per kitten. I just wanted them to get pain meds,deworming,flea treatment etc. I’m kind of gold standard where the ferals are involved. They have rough lives out in the wild and I just want them protected as much as I can. If you are interested please let me know. I don’t want to have to release them outside but I’m need them moved so I can work on the next batch! Also please share and please donate if you can. I’m becoming very stressed over money to pay for these guys and working a lot to pay for them. Which is fine but my old body is screaming at me to slow down. My dr says I may be 56 but my body is that of a 78 year old. lol. Good thing he can’t see my mental age bc I’m stuck in my teens in that department !

Thank you to everyone who has helped out in this crazy idea of mine of trapping,neutering/spaying,and usually releasing. It has been a very rewarding albeit exhaustive adventure but I know the ferals are better off bc of it. I really really appreciate yalls support! Everyone is rescue is at a breaking point right now and we really need yalls continued support!!

Or just a thought. If anyone has any items to donate we can maybe do an auction and raise money?? Maybe?

Betty Broderick was released yesterday and settled back into her colony!!! One more TNR successfully done which is great news. The bad news is 2 more adults have shown up who need done. As far as I can tell, there are the 2 new ones, 2 black kittens, one BLK wht kitten, a grey and white mom, one orange kitten and one teenaged orange kitten left. We’ve done 9 so far. I have 3 of the kittens lined up to be done tomorrow. If anyone is looking for orange male kittens please let me know! They are so very sweet and I don’t want to release them if I can find them homes! A friends daughter takes the ones who seem tameable and works her majic getting them socialized and adorable! Ole Drake gave me a run for my money and sanity today. While he was sedated, something in his gut felt odd so I decided to do a quick x ray of his abdomen to see what was going on. Well he decided he didn’t want his pictures taken and woke up with a vengeance in the x ray room. That boy went from being all nice and asleep to literally climbing the walls and bouncing around like a damn bouncy ball. I was trying to catch him while trying to avoid getting my body eaten up which was not an easy task. Luckily a coworker heard the commotion or maybe I called out for help (I really don’t remember. It’s all a blur) and we were able to get him back in the trap. I guess he didn’t see the sign I have hanging in the XRay room that says “This is my happy place. Don’t mess it up”. All ended up being fine and he had his procedure done,vaccines,and ear tipping. I will be very happy to get him released tomorrow and I’m pretty sure he will be as well. I have a feeling he doesn’t ever want to see my face again!!

Trapped another male tonite! Drake is headed off to surgery today with another one I trapped 2 days ago. Two more sets of testicles on the way to being removed and 2 more cats that won’t be able to reproduce! Please donate if you can! The trio of terrors should be big enough for surgeries next week and Betty Broderick is loaded up and going today for her vet visit! This crew will cost about 900$ to get done including vaccines ,pain meds, flea meds and microchips. And people say kids are expensive!!

Caught 2 more feral kittens. A little tabby female who wants to rearrange my face and a tiny Blk and white male baby. If anyone wants to foster these guys while waiting for them to get old enough for their rabies vaccines plz let me know! I’ll supply everything. They just need held and loved on. I have 6 total! All colors. All variety of markings. The little female who I named Betty Broderick is going to be a tough one. Her feralness runs strong in her little veins! 😆

Trapped a total of 6 cats tonite! The bigger ones (Emma Louise, Big Nose Nate and Virgil ) will be going to get altered,vaccinated,ear tipped and microchipped tomorrow. The 3 littler ones have been dewormed and treated for fleas and will receive their first vaccines tomorrow and will be altered in about 3 weeks. Chastity and Cowboy ( from last week) have been fixed and vaccinated! Chastity was released and Chester is being fostered by a veterinarian until we can find him a home. Deputy is also being fostered by a veterinarian and will get altered etc in 2 weeks with his next set of vaccines. If you are looking for a kitten please let me know!

Some bad news to report is while trapping tonite we counted another 12(!!!!!) cats and kittens here that need trapped etc. 5 more kittens that look the same age as the ones above,4 teenaged kittens,and at least 3 adults. I have no idea where they are coming from but people really need to get their cats spayed and neutered and quit letting them free roam out here. Or anywhere for that matter! It is so important to get cats fixed so the overpopulation issue is kept somewhat under control. The amount of strays out here is absolutely insane. Especially when we TNRed so many last year. But we will keep on doing what we do because it is definitely not the fault of the felines!

Please please please donate if you can. We have spent about $600 so far on these guys and the supplies needed for them are quickly being depleted and their surgeries still have to be paid for. I don’t even want to think about the cost it will be to get all of them taken care of. My husband’s kidneys may have to be sold on the black market! I’m sure he won’t mind. It’s all for a good cause! 😆
