Good morning, everyone. Hope this finds you all doing well today. With the days getting longer and warmer, nows the perfect time to start that spring cleaning around the house. If you have old appliances, lawn mowers, bicycles, swing sets, trampolines or just anything metal in general. Old grills, car parts, it doesn't matter. Give me a call @ 205-490-3134 and schedule a pickup today. All proceeds benefit our children and youth programs and our annual charities like Toys for Tots and Garrett's Place in Bessemer. Good morning, everyone. Hope this finds you all doing well and trying to stay warm and healthy as the new year gets underway. Just wanted to take a minute to remind you all about the American Legion Scrap for Vets program that I started just over two years ago. Through this program we support all of our Children and Youth programs as well as our annual charities such as Toys for Tots and Garrett's Place in Bessemer. Your items and support drive these programs and makes an impact on so many lives. I'm going to attach all the information you need to schedule a pickup of any unwanted items. It doesn't cost you a penny. I just ask that all items either be outside or in a garage or basement. Please remember that I do this in my spare time as I work a full-time job so I ask that you please be patient with me. It is my intention to take care of your needs as soon as possible. Sometimes weather or other circumstances may cause a delay in service but it is my intention to be in constant communication until I take care of you. Once again and as always, thank you all so much for your support. I couldn't do this without you. Have a great day and may God bless you all.

Good afternoon, everyone. First off, I sincerely hope you all have a wonderful holiday season so far with much fun and fellowship with family and friends. I also hope you all have escaped the illness bug going around and are keeping warm in this cold weather. Now, I want to THANK YOU ALL so very much for your support of this program. It's so hard to imagine that this Friday, January 2nd will start the 3rd year of Scrap for Vets. You guys and gals have been so amazing and a blessing all at the same time. As we start the new year, if I can be of assistance to you and help you in anyway, please let me know. I will attach all the information you need to schedule a pickup and your also welcome to share with your neighbors. I'm sorry but since it's just me, I'm limited as to where I can go so pickups are on a case by case basis. I'm sorry for any inconvenience but it needs to be worth my while to make certain trips. Good afternoon, everyone. Just wanted to take a minute and clear up 2 things about my SCRAP FOR VETS program.

1. DISCLAIMER **** I am not licensed or bonded so I would prefer that all items be outside if possible. I don't want to damage your lovely home due to an accident.

2. I don't charge a dime for my service. I get paid when I sell your items. If you feel called to offer a donation for our worthy cause, I will graciously accept your offer with humility and honor for the gift and your support.

Now, that being said. While I will absolutely take your scrap items on my list and even some that's not on the list if it fits the criteria. But I don't haul stuff to the dump for disposal. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause but I can't pay those fees and I just don't have the time. I hope you all understand. I hope this clears up any lingering questions about the program and I hope to be of service to you soon or in the future. Once again, I will attach the items list and my information to help you schedule a pickup. Have a great rest of your day and God bless.
