Celebrating Christmas at GO Guatemala

This past week, Go Guatemala hosted a beautiful and elegant Christmas dinner for children and their families at GO Guatemala In Zone 18, a celebration filled with joy, gratitude.

For many families, this was more than a meal. It was a moment to feel seen, valued, and loved. The laughter of the children, the smiles of parents, and the warm atmosphere reflecting about Jesus and the gift of family.

We are deeply thankful for everyone who made this celebration possible. These moments remind us that compassion, when shared with intention, can transform lives.

What a joy to see Light shining in the midst of darkness!
Pastor Rafael Valiente from Tesoros de Gracia Alameda shared the Good News of the Gospel with vulnerable young people from Zone 18 and La Limonada — two of the most dangerous areas of Guatemala City.

We are humbled and honored to be part of such a miracle, where many of these youth could have easily been lost to violence, gangs, or worse… but instead, they are experiencing the hope and transformation found only in Jesus Christ.

Please help us Pray for Guatemala 🇬🇹

Yesterday, Guatemala was shaken by a 5.7 earthquake followed by over 30 aftershocks. Landslides and damage have been reported across the country. Sadly several injured, and communities are hurting and scare.

Please lift up the local leaders, ministries, and responders as they care for those affected. May God give them strength, wisdom, and peace in this time of crisis. 🕊️💔

GO Guatemala 🇬🇹❤️

We are filled with gratitude as we celebrate what God is doing through our partners at GO Guatemala!

Every Saturday, children from Zone 18 in Guatemala City have a safe place to go — a place filled with hope, learning, and love. Not only do they receive a nutritious meal, but they also get the chance to develop valuable skills like technology training and baking their own bread. 🍞💻

But above all, they are introduced to the most important truth: the love of Jesus. 💖 In a healthy, joyful environment, they can laugh, play, and simply enjoy being children — just as God intended.

We thank the Lord for His mercy and provision. And we thank YOU for being part of this mission with us. Together, we are planting seeds of hope and transformation.
