Remembering Chris White
It is with incredibly heavy hearts that the Hudson Players share the passing of our dear friend, Chris White, who left us on Monday, August 3.
Chris’ journey with the Hudson Players began in 1991 when she took the stage in Harvey. What started as a role in a show turned into more than 30 years of friendship, laughter and memories.
Over the years, Chris served the Players as President, Advertising Chair, and Fundraising Chair, but her impact was so much more than the positions she held. She was one of our biggest supporters, our biggest cheerleaders, and, most importantly, our friend.
Chris loved the theater and the arts. She was very involved with CVLT and was a longtime supporter of The Cleveland Orchestra and the Cleveland Museum of Art. She was also an adventurer who loved to travel and see the world. And if you knew Chris, you knew she was an amazing chef who was always willing to try out a new recipe — always with delicious results!
There was so much to love about Chris. She was generous, funny, curious, adventurous, and always up for the next experience. She lived every moment to the fullest, and tried to show us all how to do the same.
We are going to miss her more than words can say. Her laughter, her friendship, her generosity, and her wonderful spirit will always be a part of the Hudson Players.
Please keep Chris’ family and friends in your thoughts as we remember and celebrate a truly wonderful woman.
