October is a time to raise awareness about breast cancer and the importance of early detection.

Know your family history, understand your personal risk, and stay up to date with recommended screenings. If you notice something that seems unusual or different, don’t ignore it, speak with your healthcare provider.

Early detection can make a difference. Take a few minutes this month to check in with yourself, and encourage those you care about to do the same.
