Great turnout of Post 5791 and Auxiliary members for yesterday's Memorial Day parade. Maggie Goodlander was the Legion Post 48 invited speaker. Before the parade, she took some time to greet VFW members. As you'll see in the photos, prior to the parade stepping off, there was a lot of standing around and what we in the Army used to call "smoking and joking" without the smoking, but lots of joking.

A Cootie sponsored American Red Cross Blood drive is this Friday May 29, 9-1:30 at the Post. The Red Cross is giving away beach towels to celebrate your gift of life.

Hudson Memorial VFW Post 5791 is looking for a dependable Part-Time Hall Operations Assistant to help support events, facility operations, cleaning, and light maintenance at our Post in Hudson, NH.

This is a hands-on position that includes:
✔️ Event setup and breakdown
✔️ Cleaning and resetting rooms between events
✔️ General hall upkeep
✔️ Light maintenance and basic repairs
✔️ Working as part of a team to help keep our facility running smoothly

We’re looking for someone who is reliable, flexible, hardworking, and willing to jump in where needed. Evening and weekend availability is important, as schedules are based around events and hall rentals.

Experience is helpful, but not required for the right person.

Darts. A bullseye. Fun. Laughs. It must be dart league night at Post 5791! Wednesday at 6 PM. Come join in, the dart boards are calling you to try your skill at throwing slightly lethal birdies at a target.

Post 5791 held a day of service at Benson Park on Saturday 5/16. In addition, a Poppy Drive brought in $200 for our Veterans Relief Fund, used to help local veterans in need.

Our last Meat Raffle of the season was a success! We raised over $2000 for Hudson Girls Softball League. We will see you all in September for the next raffle!
