The Hudson High School Athletic program continues to be a strong and positive impact for the community. There have been many great years and we are very proud of all the teams’ accomplishments. This wouldn’t be possible without the dedication and hard work of the coaches, trainers, managers, student-athletes, parents, volunteers, merchant sponsorships, Booster Club members and our Athletic Directo
r. Once again, the Hudson High School Athletic Booster Club is starting its yearly membership drive. We have just finished up another great year with our Athletic Program! In years past the Booster Club was able to purchase a new sound system for Morgan Bowl and a new software system, HUDL, for all the sports teams. This year we will make a purchase for the Athletic Trainers Department which will benefit the entire school, details on this to be announced soon. The goal and focus of the Booster Club is to ensure our student-athletes have a memorable athletic experience. The Booster Club, with your help, is responsible for the following activities:
• Senior Class sports participation plaques.
• All Athletic Plaques and trophies
• Letters and Pins for the Varsity athletes
• Eleven $500.00 scholarships for well-deserving graduating athletic seniors to be used towards their college education
• State Championship Team banquets, jackets, and individual plaques
• Sports Equipment
In order to continue to support all these wonderful activities and to continue to provide the athletes with a memorable high schools experience the Booster Club relies on three things.
1. The Community’s Support of the Student-Athletes
2. Each year we hold the following events: A lobster Shoot, the Hudson-Marlboro Football Smoker, booth at Pumpkin Fest, the Hudson High School Sports Hall of Fame Luncheon, the Dodge Ball Tournament, and the Golf Tournament, and multiple concession stands throughout the school year.
3. Members. All these activities and events cannot run themselves. The heart and soul of the Booster Club is our members. We rely on the families of the student athletes to join the Booster Club each year to help support these great events for the athletes as well as their ability to volunteer their time. In order to continue this great Hudson High School tradition and legacy for our student-athletes, we are asking all our families to become Booster Club members. Memberships have significantly dropped over the past few years and while we understand that times may be difficult, the Booster Club annual fee is only $20.00 per family. For those that may not know, the majority of the funds does come from our members, the Booster Club is not funded by the athletic department in any way and EVERY PENNY that the HHS Booster Club raises goes back in some way to the Student-Athletes. Equally important to the membership fee is the involvement of our members. So please join the HHS Booster Club and lend a hand!!
