Our troop may be smaller this year, but that doesn't stop us from helping out where we can!

We learned about an awesome program the animal shelter provides to members at the Northeast Iowa Food Bank to help feed pets in need! This program helps keep animals in their loving homes and out of the shelter environment.

Thank you to the Cedar Bend Humane Society for giving us a tour and allowing us to spend some quality time with the animals after our volunteer shift was over. 🐶🐱🐹🐰💓

A big thank you to Troop 1568 from Hudson for spending their Saturday helping out at the shelter! 🐾

They bagged food for our Paws Pantry program and then gave some extra love and attention to our kitties with socialization and enrichment. 🐱💛

Our furry friends are feeling happy and cared for thanks to your hard work—purrs and tail wags all around! 😻🐶

Tonight Girl Scouts Abby, Alivia, and Sloan bundled up and volunteered at the Northeast Iowa Food Bank - and they absolutely rocked it! 🙌

Our girls spent the evening in the cold room helping package sausage patties for families in need. It was chilly (okay… really chilly! 🥶), but they stuck with it, worked hard, and kept smiling the whole time.

We are so proud of their kindness, teamwork, and dedication to serving our community. 💚🌟

Thank you to our scouts and their families who joined us tonight - your support means everything!

Girl Scouts Abby, Sloan, and Norah came together today to bring their creative vision to life for the Community Church of Hudson’s annual Festival of Trees! 🎄🌟

From planning the design to placing every ornament, ribbon, and sparkle, these three worked as a team to decorate our troop's Girl Scout Tree - and they did an amazing job! 👏💚

As part of the town’s holiday festivities, each tree has goodies underneath for kids who come visit. 🎁✨ Our troop’s tree is stocked with an assortment of stickers for everyone to enjoy!

We’re so proud of their teamwork, creativity, and leadership. Way to go, girls! 🌲💫

Happy Halloween/Juliette Gordon Low's Birthday/Bridging! 🎃 🎉 🌉

It was a quick morning last weekend, but we managed to celebrate x3 with our Halloween costumes, a Juliette Gordon Low SWAP, and of course a bridging ceremony! 🕯

3,000 ducks 🐤 swam in the lazy river at The Falls Aquatic Center today for the North Star Community Services yearly fundraiser, and we had a great time helping out! Congrats to the winners! ✨️

Our girls had a blast on May 29th working on their Junior Gardening badge at the Cedar Valley Arboretum & Botanic Gardens with our new friend Cathy! 👩‍🌾💚

They learned how to:
🌱 Propagate plants
🌸 Tell annuals from perennials
🌞 Care for sun-loving and shade-loving plants

We got an amazing tour of the gardens, played music 🎶, visited the koi pond 🐟, and even found a Hobbit House! 🏡

Huge thanks to Cathy for the tour and plant lessons! This field trip helped us check off key steps for the Gardening badge — and made for a beautiful end-of-season adventure! 💫
