⚽ Volunteer Soccer Referees Needed! ⚽

Hudson Recreation is looking for volunteer referees for our Grades 4/5 soccer season.

Games begin the week of September 14, and we're hoping to find a few community members willing to help referee throughout the season. (We will have a game schedule soon)

No previous refereeing experience is necessary, we can help you learn the basics. This is a great way to support our local kids and help make the season possible.

If you have a little time to give this fall and would be willing to volunteer for a few games, we'd love to hear from you!

⚽️ Hudson Soccer Update! ⚽️

Grades 2/3 will be playing for Bradford this year, as we weren’t able to put a team together.

Grades 4/5 will have their first practice tonight, September 1, from 5:30–6:30 PM.

The Peewee team will begin practice Thursday, September 3, from 5:30–6:15 PM

Also starting the week of September 14th we will be needing referees for games. The games are Mondays and Fridays at 5:30. Please reach out if you’re interested!!

What a day! ❤️

We want to send a huge thank you to our amazing community for making Hudson Hometown Days such a success.

If you looked at the weather forecast leading up to Saturday, you probably wondered if the event would even happen. Thankfully, Mother Nature had other plans, and we ended up with a HOT, sunny day!

One of the highlights was watching our local firefighters and EMS jump into a friendly game of wiffle ball. We had a great group of locals competing in the co****le tournament, and when we introduced the idea of a community bake-off, you all exceeded our expectations with incredible baked goods. The Games, Bounce Houses and Waterslides were huge hit!

Events like this don't happen because of one person or one committee. They happen because a community comes together, volunteers, participants, first responders, vendors, food trucks, and families all playing a part.

Thank you to everyone who attended, volunteered, competed, baked, donated, and helped make the day so special. We hope everyone made great memories, and we can't wait to do it again next year! ❤️

Its hard to think Fall sports season is just around the corner. Sign ups will close August 14th.

We're keeping a very close eye on the weather forecast for Saturday. Every weather model seems to be telling a different story, so we're monitoring it closely.

Hudson Hometown Days is planned to happen rain or shine! 🌞🌦️

At this point, there is a chance of rain after 2:00 PM, but forecasts can still change between now and Saturday.

The safety of our community is our top priority. If thunderstorms or lightning move into the area, we'll temporarily pause activities until it's safe to resume. We're hoping that, if a storm does develop, it will be a quick-moving one so we can get right back to the fun.

We can't wait to see everyone on Saturday for a great day of family fun!
