Last month clients visited Como Park Zoo & Conservatory!
In addition to seeing so many amazing animals, they experienced a outdoor art exhibition on-site called "Washed Ashore: Art to Save the Sea." Every piece is built entirely from plastic debris (such as flip-flops, bottle caps, tires, and toys) collected from beaches and waterways.

Clients enjoyed learning about the importance of recycling in helping our environment and seeing the creativity of the artists in taking litter and turning it into something beautiful!

Yesterday, BRIDGE Day Services clients delivered Thank You cards to the City of Hudson WI Fire Department, Hudson Christian Community Homes and Services and the Woodbury Humane Society to show our appreciation for all they do in the community and for BRIDGE!

It was wonderful to share gratitude with some of the many people and organizations that make our community great!

There is no better way to start the week than seeing motivation in action! Last week, our BRIDGE Day Services clients gave back by packing snack bags for the Raider Network - Hudson Middle School at the First Presbyterian Church of Hudson, WI! 🎒✨

These snack bags will go directly to Hudson area students who need them most. A huge thank you to everyone who donated the food supplies and to our awesome clients for packing them. Your hard work is the ultimate motivation for all of us this week! 🤝❤️

So thankful the Bridge for Community Life helped us fill snack bags for the Raider Network - Hudson Middle School. Thank You to all that donated the absolute abundance of snacks! Giving the BRIDGE For Community Life a workout today!

BRIDGE Day Services clients are keeping busy drying fresh herbs for seasoning blends and herb-infused lotions to be used as handmade gifts later this year. Through this activity clients practice plant identification & harvesting, precise measuring, and even get to use a food dehydrator. !

The Brakke garden project is made possible thanks to funds from community grants including the Xcel Energy Foundation grant. Thank You for your support!

Club - Thanks to an incredibly generous donation of cooking ingredients (as well as a large assortment of craft items) from BRIDGE supporter - Laura Boyle, BRIDGE clients and staff made & enjoyed chocolate pancakes recently!

Snack club is a great way for clients to work on life skills like meal preparation, following recipes, understanding portions and more. Looks delicious! 🥞

All ages can enjoy events over the three-day weekend. Each day has a variety of contests, family friendly events and ends with live entertainment.

🚒 What an AWESOME visit! 🚒
The City of Hudson WI Fire Department stopped by BRIDGE yesterday and our group had a fantastic time learning all about what firefighters do!

We got to check out the equipment on the fire truck, learn about the gear firefighters wear, and see how everything works together when they’re called into action.

A huge THANK YOU to the City of Hudson Fire Department for taking the time to visit us, share your knowledge, and give us such a fun and educational experience!
We had a BLAST learning from our local heroes! ⭐
