The HCBF Literacy Fund supports a variety of efforts designed to get books into the hands of kids to help keep them reading.

Children's book authors and illustrators from all over America come to the Hudson Children's Book Festival each May to meet their readers and autograph their books to them. The HCBF Literacy Fund makes it possible for kids who might not be able to participate in getting a book right from the author to do so. For some, it's the first book they've owned.
