With performances by The Gin Blossoms, Rascal Flatts, Starship, Steven Tyler, and Sammy Hagar, we raised $1M for Akron Children’s Hospital and helped create an endowed chair honoring Dr. Jeffrey Hord. Here’s to the power of coming together for a cause.

On this Thursday, we’re proud to look back at ROC in CLE ~ Reforest Our City! 🌿
Through concerts, education, and community tree planting, we helped bring green back to Cleveland neighborhoods. Music and purpose came together in an unforgettable way with legendary bands like Train and Lynyrd Skynyrd headlining to support the cause. 🎶🌱

✨ It’s been a little while since our last post, so first things first, hello and welcome to all of our new followers! ✨

We’re excited to reconnect and share what we’ve been up to. The Mawaka Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 2004, has one mission: linking philanthropy with community through charitable events.

What started as our signature golf outing has grown into a variety of special fundraisers, all with one goal: bringing people together to make a difference. For more than 20 years, we’ve proudly partnered with nonprofits across Northeast Ohio to support health initiatives, youth programs, and community resources that make a lasting impact.
