Incredible 👏

🚒 Big news! 🚒

The Hudson Fire Department is proud to announce that we have been awarded a $10,000 grant from State Farm and the National Volunteer Fire Council to help us purchase new 6,000 PSI air cylinders for our SCBA fill station, 2 Zoll AED units for our Engines and new Pagers for our members. These items will ensure we have these needed equipment to refill our SCBA units faster keeping them in service for better protection of our Communities, allow for us to provide rapid early access for defibrillation in the event of a cardiac emergency of one of our firefighters during emergency responses and provide more members the ability to recieve proper notification of emergency dispatches. This support from State Farm and the NVFC helps us protect our community and keep our firefighters safe. Thank you for being a !

Please see the article in the comments for more details on the Good Neighbor Firefighter Safety Program. Out of 150 recipients, we were one of only 3 departments in Michigan to be awarded the grant!
