Some of our St. Croix Valley team recently joined community foundation professionals from across the Midwest in Wausau for learning, networking, team building, and plenty of fun.

We’re especially proud that our own Emily Dressel presented at the conference, sharing her knowledge and experience with fellow community foundation professionals.

We love opportunities to learn from others—and to share what we’re learning along the way. Growing our team. Strengthening our work. Sharing ideas that help communities thrive.

The St. Croix Valley Foundation is growing and is looking for a Planned Gift Officer to join our Philanthropic Services team.

This new role is more than a planned giving role. It’s an opportunity to build relationships with the people who help shape our communities (donors, families, professional advisors, nonprofit leaders, and community partners) and help connect their generosity with the places and causes they care about.

You’ll help grow planned giving, legacy giving, and charitable giving across the St. Croix Valley while supporting nonprofits in building long-term philanthropic resources.

We welcome professionals coming from fundraising, nonprofit development, estate planning, financial services, wealth management, philanthropic advising, or related fields. Knowledge of or connections to the St. Croix Valley and its nonprofit community are a plus!

Hooray for our partners at Chisago Lakes Area Community Foundation lifting up Interfaith Caregivers of Polk County for the important work they are doing for folks in the community! Collaboration and service for a big win! 👏👏👏

We are incredibly grateful to the Chisago Lakes Area Community Foundation (CLACF), an affiliate of the St. Croix Valley Foundation, for awarding ICPC a $1,000 grant at last week’s "The Great Community Tailgate" event! 🏈

This funding powers our Rural Medical Access Initiative, keeping free, long-distance rides rolling for seniors who need to travel outside Polk County for specialized care.

Angela Keen, Governance Coordinator & Executive Assistant, supports our leadership and governance work and helps keep the important work behind the scenes moving forward.

Shelby Hennlich, Grants & Scholarships Assistant, supports our grants and scholarship programs, helping connect local organizations and students with opportunities that strengthen our communities and open doors for the future.

Meet Ann Marie Gaus Pueschner! For Ann Marie, community service has always meant showing up and helping make something better.

After a 25-year career at 3M, Ann Marie brought her leadership experience to boards across Osceola, including the library, hospital foundation, and medical center. As hospital board chair during the extraordinary days of COVID, she helped guide her community through an unprecedented time.

Now a North Hudson resident, Ann Marie is bringing that experience, perspective, and passion for service to the St. Croix Valley Foundation board.

We’re grateful to have her leadership helping create meaningful impact across our communities!

Meet Nicole Winter Tietel! For more than 31 years, Nicole has helped individuals, families, and business owners navigate important decisions and build their legacies.

As a fourth-generation leader of Winter & Associates — and the firm’s first woman to lead it — Nicole brings decades of leadership, financial expertise, and a strong commitment to serving others. Her community leadership includes The Ordway, Dodge Nature Center, Minnesota Children’s Hospital, and the Junior League of St. Paul.

Now, Nicole is bringing that experience and community perspective to the St. Croix Valley Foundation board. We’re grateful for the impact her leadership will help create throughout the Valley!

Meet Jason Howard! For more than a decade, Jason has helped strengthen the St. Croix Valley through leadership, relationships, and a deep commitment to community.

As President and CEO of First State Bank and Trust, he understands the value of thinking long-term and building strong connections. His community service spans health care, senior living, and youth development, including leadership with Northern Star Scouting Council and the Lakeview Health Growing for Good Campaign.

Jason brings that same community-minded leadership to the St. Croix Valley Foundation board.
