The weather didn’t interfere with our fishing event. Thank you to everyone that helped out to make this another successful event and for all the families that attended.

Mark your calendar for the Cops and Bobbers. Everyone is welcome to this free event. No fishing experience or equipment needed. We will teach you and all the kids get the fishing equipment to keep. Breakfast of donuts (imagine that 🤣) provided. Lunch also provided.

Today we said goodbye to a wonderful man, Retired Sergeant, Paul Lance.

Paul was very active with the Northwest Ohio FOP Lodge #123. Because of his love for fishing and kind heartedness for helping people of all ages, Paul created a fishing program called “Hooked on Fishing, Not Drugs”. This is now called “Cops & Bobbers: Passport to Fishing”. This Years’ Cops & Bobbers will be the first one without it’s founder.

I have many fond memories of Paul dating back to the 70’s. I know he has touched so many lives within his lifetime. As long as we are all alive, Paul will be alive in our hearts and memories. Please feel free to share some of your most cherished memories of Paul below.
