It’s with hearts overflowing with gratitude we announce the formal dissolution of Emotional Justice 501(c)(3). Through your (our communities) generosity, we were able to make a significant and lasting impact in the lives of many women and chikdren. Here’s just a little snapshot:

We helped a woman and her 5 children with special needs, cover legal fees- so those kids could be safe.

And yet another young family, stuck in the court system- we helped cover their legal fees and keep the family intact during the long divorce process.

A beautiful young lady- grew up in foster care, without extended family & didn’t even have a driver's license in her 20’s with two young children. She was a go getter though. We had the privilege of covering her legal fees and helping cover rent as she moved into her own place, passed her drivers test and waited for her first paycheck at her new job. We also found resources to give her and her kids a Christmas they’ll never forget.

We helped another single mom, going through nursing school, and working as full time as possible cover rent for her and her son.

We were able to help a local mama going through a tumultuous divorce while dealing with a difficult medica diagnosis herself, cover legal
fees to help maintain protective orders for her children and keeping them all safe.

We had the privilege of helping cover the downpayment for a mom and her kids, purchasing their forever home. The significance of having a safe, permanent spot to grow up will impact those kids' lives forever.

Together, we made a difference. Thank you 🤍

Big News!
We were nominated to present at Power of 100| St. Criox Falls women’s group this May, with the opportunity to walk away with a grant that will literally change the life of a solo mama and her kids, in need, on our waiting list, right here in the St. Criox Valley!
Is anyone in our network great with PowerPoint- we’ll provide the content, we just need 4-6 good looking slides.

So blessed to be a part of this amazing event with Renew Hope last month.
Renew Hope provides resources for survivors of S*x Trafficking! They are $10,000 away from reaching their banquet goal of $60,000.00.

Here's why the $10,000 goal is important.

It will move us closer to our goal to re-open the Amborella House
It will help fund the expansion of SAM (Our unique survivor mentorship program)
Helps us to raise awareness and educate local police, medical, social services, business communities, churches and local groups on the truth about s*x trafficking in the local area.

Just one year ago, after jumping through all the hoops and waiting and waiting and waiting- we received our official 501(c)(3) designation. Well, just over a year ago (01/11/2022)
And what a first year we have had! THANK YOU to each person who has volunteered, connected us with men and women in need, landed a speaking opportunity, shared our organization, sat on the board- we would be nothing without each of YOU!
We discovered a lot of ways to NOT do things. Found our weaknesses and uncovered our strengths. We spent a lot of time building a strong foundation that can handle the level of impact and growth we will see in the coming years.
And most importantly, we wrote two grants. Guys- we were able to help two individuals (and their children) fill in some financial gaps so they could get through the grueling season of divorce and custody battles with their abusers, and onto the other side, the season of healing and thriving!
Did you know we even provide mentors along with the grants (that go toward covering the crippling legal fees) so these men and women are supported in as many ways as possible?
So what if, what if we can spend the next 10 years, doubling the number of people we help each year. 4 in 2023, then 8, 2025 would be the year of 16, then 32, on to 64, then 128. If I did my math correctly- at the end of 10 years we will help 2,046 individuals and their families. Can you even fathom the lasting impact?
It’s wildly humbling seeing a cause so close to my heart start to gain flight, the deep meaning and fulfillment is indescribable and moves me to tears. None of us can do it all on our own. Whatever the cause is that pulls at your heart strings, it takes a team, a movement, a community to make a difference.
If you or anyone you know have been impacted or experienced domestic, emotional or physical abuse- would you consider being part of the solution for someone else? Every single dollar counts.
TOGETHER, we can make a difference.
