🌪️🌈 We’re Off to See the Wizard! 👠✨
Calling all 6th, 7th and 8th grade performers! The Zephyr Theatre in Stillwater and Hudson Middle School are thrilled to announce auditions for The Wizard of Oz: Youth Edition!
Whether you’re a total newbie or a seasoned pro on the stage, we want you to join us as we follow the Yellow Brick Road. There are so many fun and iconic roles waiting to be cast—from Dorothy and the Scarecrow to the Tin Man, the Lion, and the Wicked Witch!
NOTE: This program is supported and organized by the Hudson Middle School Parent Group.

Audition Details:
Who: 6th, 7th and 8th grade students
Date: Tuesday, December 8th
Time: 3:15pm - 7:15pm
Location: Hudson Middle School Media Center

Students wanting a role in the production must attend auditions. Families are required to complete the online form, linked in the comments below, to grant permission and learn more about the production. Please reach out with any questions!

Look at what came in the mail this week!!! A fundraiser check for $46,324.80. Thank you again to everyone who helped make this year’s fundraiser a success!! We have 3 big initiatives we can fund for the middle school:
-Bussing for end of year field trips for all 3 grades
-New novels for the 6th grade LA classes
-New novels for the 7th grade LA classes

The novels will get repurposed for future 6th and 7th grade students for years to come and give the students a chance to have a hard copy book they read for each grade, which is essential for academic learning in a digital age.

Starts Tomorrow, Oct. 5 through Oct. 13! The Scholastic Book Fair is at HMS for the next two weeks (located outside the media center) and available before/after school, before lunch and during conferences on October 8 and 12. Creating an eWallet for your student is the easiest way for them to make purchases.

Help us provide dinner for the middle school staff for two Parent-Teacher Conference Nights: October 8 and 12.

Teachers and staff are at school on these days for up to 14-16 hours and truly appreciate the dinner and food items we provide. There are a variety of ways to help.

We have a caterer that will provide the main dish, and we're asking families to donate the drinks and desserts.

In Less than 48 hours (as of 9 am today), our school has over $33,816 in online donations! 460 students have registered and sent out 3716 emails on your school’s behalf! 385 Students have sent 10 or more emails!

That means we’ve paid for field trip busing for all 3 grades and now are working on paying for a novel for all 6th graders and teacher grants.
