This past Saturday was a full one for Bikers Unbroken, and we were honored to be part of two incredible events. It made for a long day, but every single moment was worth it.
We started at the Greater Ohio Area Super Kids Fun Run. This amazing non-profit organization creates opportunities for children with disabilities to experience the joy and thrill of soap box derby style racing. We had the privilege of assisting with car staging, making sure each child and their co-pilot had the right fit.
Watching those kids fly down the hill without fear, free, and full of joy reinforces why we do what we do. Our mission has always been to help create a world where children feel safe, supported, and can flourish. Moments like this bring that mission to life in the most beautiful way.
Thank you to Greater Ohio Area Super Kids Classic, Inc. for trusting us to be part of this, year after year. This event fills our hearts every time.
While some of us were volunteering at the races, the rest were at the Annual Canton Pickle Fest , where we set up our booth and spent time connecting with our community.
We loved talking with families, doing temporary tattoos with the kids, handing out pinwheels, and meeting so many different people.
Along the way, we were able to share who we are, provide education around child abuse awareness and reporting, and talk about how all of us can play a role, no matter how small, in protecting children.
We’re incredibly grateful for opportunities like this. To be able to show up, to connect, and to keep spreading awareness in our community is a huge part of who we are.
