Piper's Key

Piper's purpose didn't end on 5/20/20 when we gave her her key to unlock herself from her physical body. It's the day her mission began!

Piper's Key is OFFICIALLY a 501(c)(3) nonprofit charity that gifts inclusive books to children with disabilities that represent their unique selves in a positive light. For so many children with disabilities, the primary focus is on their actual diagnosis and treatment/management plan. Often times, these plans may not include positive self-image through representation, especially for lower income

families. How can we ensure a more INCLUSIVE world for every child? Shouldn't the most inclusive opportunity be sitting on their bookshelf? Piper's Key will ensure that the most basic learning tool is a positive representation of children of all disabilities! The books we gift are written by individuals with disabilities, family members/parents of children with disabilities, or professionals working with children with disabilities. We believe in providing the disability community with a voice for future generations!

So much giving this last month!

We gifted 10 (yes 🖐🏻🖐🏻) Educational Book Boxes to schools throughout Ohio, New Jersey, and Georgia 🎉 Each school received over 30 thoughtfully selected books on disabilities to integrate into their libraries or curriculum, along with a book guide with activities to implement with their student body! When a school’s learning tools represent the entire community, every child thrives 💕

We passed out books to all the incredible student athletes participating at in Medina County, Ohio 🏅Always one of our favorite events of the year and an amazing reminder of why representation matters!
