💙 Charity Spotlight: Kelly's Grief Center

Each year during The Mighty Vincent Project’s week of service, our volunteers have the opportunity to support Kelly’s Grief Center, an organization that provides counseling and resources for those navigating loss and other mental health concerns.

We’ve rolled up our sleeves and helped care for the grounds, giving kids and families a chance to serve together and make a difference in a simple, hands-on way. 🌳

As Cathy Reeves from Kelly’s Grief Center shared:

“Their willingness to come together, get their hands dirty, and help care for our grounds is a beautiful reminder that even small acts of kindness can make a meaningful difference. We are so thankful for their compassion, generosity, and support of our grieving families.”

We’re proud to continue supporting this incredible organization and the work they do. Join us this year for The Mighty Vincent Project, September 19–27. Registration opens September 1, at noon! 💙

Volunteer Spotlight: The McKenna Family 💙

We're so grateful to feature the McKenna family. Their friendship and support over the past 15 years have meant the world to us, and we're incredibly thankful they've been part of The Mighty Vincent Project since the very beginning.

Huge shout-out to Mary for sharing her thoughts on what being part of The Mighty Vincent Project has meant to her and her family:

“We keep coming back because remembering matters. Serving others matters. And this project is such a simple but meaningful way for us to show our love and support for the Baran family. Through their generosity, vision, and countless hours of planning and coordination, they've made it easy for so many of us to help others and pay forward the incredible gift they were given in Vincent.”

“Vinny was a great kid, smart, funny, full of personality, and someone who made a lasting impact on everyone who knew him.”

“Volunteering through Mighty Vincent is unique because the service opportunities are so family friendly. There's something for everyone, including our younger kids, which has made serving together as a family one of the greatest gifts of this experience. This past year, we sorted socks and other donations for people experiencing homelessness and helped serve a meal. It was a humbling experience.”

Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts for five years of serving, remembering, and helping carry Vincent's legacy forward. ❤️

📚A new book. A mighty impact.

On September 8, Scepter Publishers will release a book by Vincent’s dad, Ben Baran.

It’s titled Crucibles: How Faith and Science Help Us Navigate Suffering. Although motivated by tragedy, it’s not a grief memoir. It’s a hope-filled, reflective guide on how we can all reckon better with adversity—weaving together personal experience, psychology, and faith to provide perspective and guidance for anyone facing life’s hardest moments.

We’re incredibly grateful that 100% of Ben’s 2026 author royalties will be donated to Mighty Vincent, helping us continue creating acts of kindness, service, and love throughout our communities. 💙

Join us in carrying Vincent’s light forward; every purchase makes a mighty impact. Available September 8.
