Volunteer Spotlight: The McKenna Family 💙
We're so grateful to feature the McKenna family. Their friendship and support over the past 15 years have meant the world to us, and we're incredibly thankful they've been part of The Mighty Vincent Project since the very beginning.
Huge shout-out to Mary for sharing her thoughts on what being part of The Mighty Vincent Project has meant to her and her family:
“We keep coming back because remembering matters. Serving others matters. And this project is such a simple but meaningful way for us to show our love and support for the Baran family. Through their generosity, vision, and countless hours of planning and coordination, they've made it easy for so many of us to help others and pay forward the incredible gift they were given in Vincent.”
“Vinny was a great kid, smart, funny, full of personality, and someone who made a lasting impact on everyone who knew him.”
“Volunteering through Mighty Vincent is unique because the service opportunities are so family friendly. There's something for everyone, including our younger kids, which has made serving together as a family one of the greatest gifts of this experience. This past year, we sorted socks and other donations for people experiencing homelessness and helped serve a meal. It was a humbling experience.”
Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts for five years of serving, remembering, and helping carry Vincent's legacy forward. ❤️
