Urgent update from Bedford Cares!
Dear Friends and Supporters,
We are reaching out today to share some critical news regarding our recent operations and upcoming plans.
In order to best serve our mission and manage our resources effectively, we are making an immediate transition. A few of our Board Members have stepped down, and the Thrift Shop is temporarily closed. However, we fully intend to continue with Bedford Cares and reopen the shop soon with new volunteers, furniture, and inventory.
We are currently restructuring our facility operations, moving to Tuesday 4:00 - 6:00, and a Saturday schedule from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM (noon) every other week, starting ASAP. Because of this, the following changes are taking effect immediately:
Temporary scheduling adjustments for pickups: Please reply to this post or email us if you wish to pick up an item this week.
Relocation: We are currently relocating our storage unit, inventory, and activities.
To make this successful, we desperately need volunteer sign-ups to help stock the store and sort donations. Specifically, we need at least three (3) volunteers on Tuesdays and Saturdays to handle sales, packaging, and restocking.
Our team and board are fully committed to making this transition as smooth as possible, but we cannot do it without you. If you have any questions, or if you are able to lend a hand during this critical time, please reach out to us at [email protected] or via direct message on Facebook.
Thank you for your continued dedication to our cause of saving animals and for being such a vital part of our community.
Warmly,
Philip C. Banton & The Board of Directors
