At the September 1st General Meeting at 7-8:30pm, DNR Washington County Warden, Steve Swiertz will be on hand as our guest speaker to update the club on the ongoing EHD epidemic. He will field questions from the membership and answer what he can.

Quick reminder that we will be having a special workday at Daniel Boone, this Saturday the 25th from 8am to noon. Please join us if able and any amount of time is greatly appreciated.

We’ll be meeting by the upper parking lot barn, for a sign in sheet and assignments.

Goal is to clean up the trap area, pond area, field archery area and driveway in advance of the DBCL picnic on August 1st. During the workday, the field archery range (3D course will remain open), all trap fields and the pond will be closed.

Please bring chainsaws, w**d wackers, tarps, shovels, rakes, etc to help make this go as quick as possible. Also, PLEASE spread the word in looking for volunteers. The more help we have, the quicker this will go.

Huge shout out to many volunteers already, that have been making a significant dent in the cleanup efforts.
