URGENT CALL FOR CHRISTIANS: what you can do RIGHT NOW to help the situation in Afghanistan. I am listening to Glen Beck's podcast this morning. There are around 5,000 or more Christians(women, children, pastors and their families) stranded in Afghanistan right now. I just saw a breaking news report that the taliban is planning to slaughter these people this afternoon "to set an example". The Nazarene Fund is setting up charter planes to go in and try to rescue our brothers and sisters in Christ as I am writing this email. They need money to send these charter planes over. It costs $4,000 per person for these charter planes. It's a lot of money, but they need all the help they can get right now. Whatever anyone can donate will help. I donated $10 because that's literally all I have. Go to thenazarenefund.org to donate.

Please pass this on.

*sidenote* I apologize we haven't been keeping everyone updated about our car show. With the pandemic it's been a struggle to plan for it. We miss all of you!

To liberate the captive, to free the enslaved, and to rescue, rebuild and restore the lives of Christians and other persecuted religious and ethnic minorities wherever and whenever they are in need.

It is with great sadness that we need to tell you this....Mr. Warren Bremer, passed away, Tuesday, July 23, 2019.

This is his obituary:

Warren William Bremer (94) was born on November 10, 1924 in Hubbard, Oregon, on the Bremer homestead to Arthur Bremer and Amelia Fahl Bremer. He passed away on July 23, 2019 in his home. He was married to Helen Crawford Bremer and they had four children – Marjorie Hamm (husband Vern), Art Bremer, Jerry Bremer, and Randy Bremer (wife Jean). His second wife, Darlene Crites McCreary Bremer, brought three additional children to his family – Sherry McCreary Pantovich (husband Dave), Steve McCreary, and Michael McCreary (wife Jenny). He has 17 grandchildren: Jonathan Hamm, Brian Hamm, Corey Hamm, Jessica Bremer, Tiffany Bremer Dunn, Jerry Bremer II, Shane Bremer, Shannon Bremer Wernecke, Danny Pantovich, Tami Pantovich Basey, Jamie McCreary, Jimmy McCreary, Timmy McCreary, Melinda McCreary, Crystal McCreary Martin, and Marina McCreary. He has 26 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Irene Bremer Doan, both Helen and Darlene, and his sons Art and Jerry.
He attended Oak Lawn School until the 8th grade. He was only 16 years old when he took over the family dairy farm as his dad became ill. When his dad passed away at 46, Warren managed the family dairy farm until he retired. He loved people, loved camping, listening to music and playing his harmonica. He had good times traveling in his motorhome with Darlene and dancing the jig. He liked his beer and in his later years you could see him riding his lawn mower. His last trip on his lawn mower (July 13) was at the annual Cruizin’ 4 Life car show that became a part of his life for the past 13 years on his farm.
Private services will be held for the family.
Please make any donations in his honor to Cruizin’ 4 Life (6677 S. Hwy 211, Hubbard) or Hospice Care of the Northwest (2290 Commercial St SE #108, Salem, OR 97302).
He will be missed by family members and a vast number of friends.

Let's admit it, nothing draws a crowd more than an amazing street rod or roadster. That someone takes something that was basic transportation decades ago, and turns them into a rolling piece of art, is the foundation of the hobby. Enjoy!
